From a broken manual process to a system the team actually adopted
— self-initiated
The problem
Intern management at Glowlogix was fully manual — no visibility,
no tracking, no defined process. Each team lead handled onboarding differently. Nobody
had formally documented it. They just compensated for the chaos.
My approach
Observed workflows across multiple team leads. Mapped every
manual step and confusion point. Wrote SOPs first. Then built a formal proposal — full
PPT with documentation — and presented it to management. Code came after buy-in.
The outcome
Custom dashboard: structured onboarding, task tracking, batch
management, clear accountability. Management approved it. The team adopted it. Built
entirely on self-initiative — nobody assigned this to me.
